By using this website or booking through third-party platforms such as Booking.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. 1. General Information
1.1 Kings Grand Hotel is located in 130 Sri Kathiresan St, Colombo 01300, Sri Lanka.
1.2 These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
1.3 By making a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Reservations and Payments
2.1 Reservations can be made directly through our website or via third-party platforms such as Booking.com. All bookings are subject to availability.
2.2 A valid payment method is required to secure your booking. The payment method accepted may include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other methods specified on the website or third-party platforms.
2.3 All rates displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
2.4 Full payment for all bookings required.
2.5 Kings Grand Hotel reserves the right to cancel a reservation if full payment is not received within the stipulated time.
2.6 All bookings are non-refundable, a special request can be made for booking cancellation.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation policies may vary based on the rate plan and platform used for booking (e.g., direct website or Booking.com). The specific cancellation policy will be outlined at the time of booking.
3.2 Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days. Bank charges or transaction fees associated with refunds are the responsibility of the guest.
4. Check-in and Check-out
4.1 24-hour rooms, no specific time for check-in, but from the time guest checks in – 24 hours would be provided, and additional hours would be charged
4.2 A valid government-issued photo ID or passport must be presented at check-in.
5. Guest Conduct
5.1 Guests must comply with all hotel policies, including but not limited to noise levels, smoking regulations, and use of facilities.
5.2 Any damage to hotel property caused by a guest will be charged to the guest’s account. The hotel reserves the right to take legal action if necessary.
5.3 Illegal activities or behavior that disrupt other guests’ experiences are strictly prohibited.
6. Liability
6.1 Kings Grand Hotel will not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to use in-room safes where available.
6.2 Kings Grand Hotel’s liability is limited to the value of the booking amount paid in cases of proven negligence.
7. Third-party Platforms
7.1 Bookings made through third-party platforms such as Booking.com are subject to the terms and conditions of those platforms in addition to these terms.
7.2 Kings Grand Hotel is not responsible for errors or omissions on third-party platforms. Guests are advised to verify booking details prior to confirmation.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Kings Grand Hotel shall not be held liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics.
9. Privacy Policy
9.1 Kings Grand Hotel respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of managing reservations and providing services.
